Cookie Policy
Last updated May 5, 2026
This Cookie Policy describes the cookies and similar technologies that DailyMath uses on dailymath.co and what choices you have.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser when you visit a website. We use a few different kinds, described below.
2. Cookies we use
Essential — always on
__convexAuthJWT/__convexAuthRefresh— authenticate your session with Convex Auth. Set when you sign in. Cleared when you sign out.dm_consent— remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies. Set when you click a button on the cookie banner. Without it, we'd ask on every page load.dm_theme(if applicable) — remembers your light/dark mode preference.
Analytics — only with your consent
- Visitors.now sets a persistent identifier so we can recognize repeat visits and measure how the marketing site is used. We use this to understand what's working and what isn't. We do not use it for advertising. If you reject cookies, Visitors.now still loads but in an anonymous, single-session mode — no persistent identifier is set.
3. Where we use these
Analytics cookies are set only on the marketing site (dailymath.co). They are not loaded on the app surface (app.dailymath.co) or in admin areas.
4. Your choices
- When you first visit, a banner asks you to Accept or Reject analytics cookies.
- You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
- You can also clear cookies in your browser settings; the banner will then re-appear on your next visit.
